Our unique recipe is made with creamy Whole A2 Goat Milk and Goat Whey. The A2 proteins in goat milk form smaller, softer casein curds (similar to breast milk). For infants experiencing digestive discomfort such as constipation, gassiness, and reflux, using goat milk formula may reduce the likelihood of these symptoms occurring, making it a natural alternative for infants with sensitive tummies. Our Goat milk formula has no palm oil, no added soy, and no corn syrup. It is further enriched with GOS and plant-Based DHA & ARA.

Our Goat formula is suitable from birth.

preparation

Add 1 level scoop of Kendamil Goat Infant Formula powder to each 1 fl oz (30ml) of water.

YOUR BABY'S HEALTH DEPENDS ON CAREFULLY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. PROPER HYGIENE, PREPARATION, DILUTION, USE AND STORAGE ARE IMPORTANT WHEN PREPARING INFANT FORMULA. CONSULT YOUR BABY'S PHYSICIAN ABOUT THE NEED TO BOIL CLEAN UTENSILS, BOTTLES, AND NIPPLES IN WATER BEFORE USE AND THE APPROPRIATE USE OF FORMULA FOR YOUR CHILD.

Step 1

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing formula.

Step 2

Bring 32 oz of fresh water to the boil (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Cool for 5 minutes, then pour the required water into a sterilized bottle, taking care to avoid burns. Using the scoop provided, immediately add the correct number of levelled scoops of powder to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.

Step 3

Place on a sterilized nipple and cap, and shake well to dissolve powder. Cool to a natural body temperature by running the bottle (cap on) under cold running water. Once feeding begins, use formula within 1 hour or discard. Always test the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist after above cooling step.

1. Whole Milk with MFGM

Whole Goat’s Milk is the first ingredient in our goat formula recipes and is sourced from European goat farms. Our use of whole goat’s milk provides a naturally creamy taste to our recipe and crucially means we can use reduced levels of vegetable oils, which typically form 100% of the fat content in other formula brands. The A2 proteins in goat milk form smaller, softer casein curds, promoting gentler digestion. For infants experiencing digestive discomfort such as constipation, gassiness, and reflux, using goat milk formula may reduce the likelihood of these symptoms occurring, making it a natural alternative for infants with sensitive tummies.

2. Whey Protein

We add whey protein to our recipe to adjust the naturally high casein content of cow's milk, achieving a whey to casein ratio of approximately 60:40. This adjusted ratio more closely resembles the composition of breastmilk. Whey protein is more easily digestible than casein protein as it remains soluble in the acidic environment of the stomach, allowing it to be digested and absorbed quickly. Our source of whey protein is also rich in lactose, which is the most common carbohydrate (or ‘sugar’) found in breastmilk, providing energy to your little one.

3. Fat blend

Alongside the natural milk fat from our whole milk, we use a blend of infant-grade coconut, sunflower and rapeseed oil for our fat content. These oils are necessary to provide essential fatty acids (such as linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid) which are present in human milk and are the precursors for your baby to make long chain polyunsaturated fats like DHA. We can’t rely exclusively on our whole cow’s milk fats as these fatty acids are not present in sufficient quantities. We never include Palm Oil, Palm Olein, or Soybean Oil in our formula.

4. DHA & ARA

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is a type of omega-3 fatty acid which supports healthy brain and eye development. It is naturally found in breastmilk and plays a crucial role in the growth and function of an infant's nervous system. We source our DHA from sustainably farmed marine algae. Kendamil ensures our formulas meet the EU-required levels of DHA in infant formula. The FDA does not have a requirement for DHA in USA-made infant formula.

5. HMOs & Prebiotics

Goat milk goat milk has up to 10x more prebiotics (Oligosaccharides) than cow’s milk and helps to protect against inflamation. Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) found in human breast milk play an important role in protecting gut epithelial cells, infant immunity, and are linked to the growth of healthy gut bacteria. That’s why we add a prebiotic blend to our range of formulas to provide naturally occurring HMO content. GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) are dietary fibers added to infant formula to mimic the effects of prebiotics found in breastmilk. They promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria which can lead to a healthier digestive system, softer stools, and potential immune system benefits.

Absolutely disappointed

"I wrote a 5 star review not long ago. My girl used Kendamil goat for a month and was doing amazing finally. After that she started to go backwards and getting worse and worse with her reflux. Just to find out they decided to add cow milk to this formula. Why even advertise it as a goat milk formula… you shouldn’t. Tore my poor baby’s belly up by them adding this. Now switching to Kabrita and I like Kendamils quality better. Really wish I could still use it. Now I have to waist all the formula I have."

PSA CMPA AND CMPI MOMS

"KENDAMIL IS NOW PUTTING COWS MILK IN THEIR GOATS MILK FORMULA. This is extremely upsetting for moms that have littles with CMPI where they can tolerate goats milk but cannot have cows milk. They switched up the ingredients list and the new can looks identical on the front (only saying goat). We checked the ingredients when we first started my son on it at 2 months old, but had no idea it had changed since. We were questioning his increased vomiting and rejection of his formula when I stumbled on a PSA from another mom, not even the company itself. I came home to confirm and sure enough they started making with cows milk. My sons symptoms from receiving cows milk from this formula included: extreme vomiting, rejection of formula, rejection of purees, broken sleep, increased fussiness, raised bumps on his chin, and bouts of diarrhea and constipation. We switched to a new formula company this morning, but cows milk takes around 2 weeks to get out of the system so he will continue to have symptoms as well."

Forever a Kendamil family

"Where do I even begin. Our baby was diagnosed with cmpa at 2 months. We tried everything including amino acid formula. Our baby was not happy, looked unhealthy and was in pure pain from amino acid formula. After having enough of the formula game here in the United States, we decided to give Kendamil goat formula a try. Oh man are we happy we went with our gut to try this formula. Our baby is a whole different baby now. Thank you Kendamil for making such a life changing product. We are forever grateful. Ps. The fact that you are the only brand formula in the USA with the label “not suitable for cmpa” shows the cards of our government and how scared big formula is of your brand. Forever a Kendamil family."

Life changer for mommies

"Honestly I highly recommend the goat infant formula to all moms struggling with breastfeeding , this formula is the best in all over formulas , honestly I have my infant so many different high rate ones but he struggled on digesting also the ones that said he release or ease or whatever never worked for him , the color of his poop was super dark green and it was super sticky and every time I change him I panicked that it might change to black , every time he poops he gots super fussy and he only did every 3 days which bothered me a lot , in some how my friend recommend kendamil goat and everything has changed since then he hasn't struggle with popping the color change to mustard and he is more happier now ."

Infant Goat formula

"I appreciate this so much! It is the ONLY formula that my baby can have- he is allergic to cows milk. I wish you sold it in more stores . I'm now at the point where every target is out of it. . very scary. . I'm now having to use a different goat milk that has palm oil . Please let me know when you have this in stock."

BEST THING EVER!

"After our little one was crying in pain for months we finally switch over to goat milk and he's like a whole new baby! And he seems to want to drink more of it compared to other formulas- I'm so happy to have found this formula!"

Saving grace

"Not a paid review! Just an honest customer visiting the website looking for a Black Friday deal (none sadly lol). This formula has been our saving grace with our second child. First child we finally got him figured out at 6 mos. Exclusively formula fed. Ended up being on ready to feed alimentum. We weren't aware of goats milk at that time. With baby #2 we tried this brand around 4 months and it was truly an answered prayer. Grateful for kendamil goats milk!!! Now, give us a subscription based model!!!"
