Made with Love in Europe: Kendamil Toddler Drink Reaching More US Families

To keep up with growing demand, we’re expanding production of Kendamil Classic Toddler Drink to include one of our trusted partner facilities in Europe —where many of our beloved formulas, including more of our Classic range, are already made.

Big news, Kendamil families! We’re thrilled to share that, to keep up with growing demand, we’re expanding production of our Classic Toddler Drink to include one of our trusted partner facilities in Europe —where many of our beloved formulas, including more of our Classic range, are already made. This expansion allows us to reach more families while maintaining the exceptional quality, wholesome ingredients, and care you know and trust.

A Commitment to Quality and Ingredients

At Kendamil, we’re committed to supporting your little ones with high-quality, wholesome nutrition. Our Toddler Classic Drink will continue to be made with European whole milk from trusted European farms—just as it always has been! Plus, it remains soy-free, palm oil-free, and proudly vegetarian certified. Behind the scenes, our R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams are involved in every step of the process, making sure every tin meets the same world-class standards you know and love.

What’s Different on the Label?

At Kendamil, we know that even minor updates to the label can raise questions. That’s why we’re here to provide clarity and reassurance on the differences you may see on our packaging (hint: this is common when transitioning production to a new partner facility due to slight differences in processing). We’ve made a few adjustments to ingredient listings to reflect our sourcing and production methods more accurately.

Skimmed milk remains the same, but its labeling has been updated to reflect its liquid form more accurately. Similarly, rapeseed oil is now listed as Low Erucic Rapeseed Oil, though the oil itself has not changed—this adjustment simply provides a more detailed description. Additionally, we have streamlined our calcium sources by using only Tri-Calcium Phosphate instead of two separate sources, maintaining the same essential benefits while simplifying the ingredient profile.

Some of the numbers on our nutritional panel have been updated to align with U.S. labeling requirements, but these adjustments do not reflect any actual changes to our formula. The total fat value has increased from 4g to 4.5g due to U.S. rounding rules, while the fiber percentage has been adjusted from 2% DV to "<7% DV" to more accurately represent “less than” values. Similarly, the protein content now appears as 3g (23% DV) instead of 2g (15% DV), but this is simply a result of rounding regulations rather than any modification to the formula itself.

Finally, under the preparation section, you’ll notice that "bottles" and "nipples" have been updated to "cups" and "caps." This reflects age-appropriate transition guidelines from bottles to sippy cups.

Will my toddler notice any changes to taste or texture?

Some little ones may notice slight variations in taste and texture. For instance, the taste may be slightly less sweet and creamy, and as parents you may notice a paler, finer appearance due to a slightly different heating process.

As for texture and solubility, parents and caregivers shouldn’t notice a difference. If you do notice any changes in solubility, simply swirl or shake to reconstitute. Remember, like all Kendamil formulas, Kendamil Toddler Drink is designed to be at its best when made fresh for each feed (following NHS guidelines).

Rest assured, the quality of our ingredients remains unchanged, ensuring the same wholesome goodness for your little one.

How will I know if I’m using Kendamil Toddler Drink produced at the trusted partner facility, and do I need to plan for a slow transition?

Most toddlers won’t notice a difference, but every toddler is different, and it might take your little one a while to fully adjust. When introducing a new formula, we generally recommend a gradual transition over 7-14 days to allow your little one’s digestive system to adjust. Common reactions like gas, constipation, or fussiness can occur, so easing into the switch can help minimize discomfort.

A step-by-step approach involves slowly swapping bottles of the current formula with Kendamil, starting with midday feeds first and avoiding bedtime feeds initially. By Day 5, all feeds can be fully transitioned to Kendamil.

Some families find switching all feeds immediately works well, while others prefer a gradual shift. Every toddler is different, so follow their cues and consult your healthcare professional if you have any concerns.

We’re excited to continue this journey with you and appreciate your trust as we grow together. Our customer support team is available to answer any questions, and we will keep you updated on availability through our social channels.
